2017 Red Fusion
Winemaker Phil Warren completely overhauled his 2016 red blend by retaining only the Mourvèdre and replacing the other three varietals with two new ones: Cabernet Franc and Syrah. The results are impressive. Concentrated black cherry fruit predominates with finishing notes of roasted coffee, leather, and semi-sweet chocolate. Artfully crafted and delicious!
The 2017 Fusion is a blend of 34% Cabernet Franc, 33% Syrah, and 33% Mourvedre. A lighter-bodied red blend with low tannins, bright acidity, and juicy red fruit flavors that burst on the palate.
